The JSG Best Ten Music Awards Presentation 2010 was held last night. Joey Yung wins the Most Popular Female Singer for the 6th time, breaking the late Anita Mui's 5 time record. This year in all 4 of the music awards, Joey has won a total of 14 awards, becoming 2010's 'Strongest Award Queen'. Joey emotionally said: "Never thought I'll get this award again. When people get older, many things are not viewed as heavily anymore. So many companions of mines love me, so many years of ups and downs, I depend on a beat of silly power, I will be constantly improving." Recently it was rumored that Raymond Lam will be a 'double winner' because he got Virgina Lok's support, while Leo Ku got Stephen Chan's support. In the end, Leo got the Most Popular Male Singer and Raymond remained as the 'Asia-Pacific Most Popular HK Male Singer'. When Raymond got this award, Wong Cho Lam joked: "TVB's hard work can be seen in anyone's eyes." Although Raymond failed to be a 'double winner', the biological son still got 3 awards.
Two of Raymond's awards were with Miriam Yeung and Charlene Choi. On stage, both girls had to change to call Raymond 'Fung Gor' instead. Miriam said: "I've been in the industry for 15 years and this is my first duet award, really if there was no Fung Gor there wouldn't be this award!"
As for Miriam, when the 'Asia-Pacific Most Popular HK Female Singer' award was announced, Miriam was even happier the moment she heard her name: "Really have to thank Mr. Ting, for making me Mrs. Ting, so I can be 'Ah Tai' Most Popular Female HK Singer."
