TVB Ready To Take Action In Promoting Second-Line TVB Artistes

TVB artistes had recently been entered into the mainland industry to film series, such as Roger Kwok, Kevin Cheng, Ron Ng, Bosco Wong, Sonija Kwok, Myolie Wu, Kate Tsui, etc. They wanted to earn their alternate source of income in the mainland. This lead to serious chaos to TVB crews in terms of choosing the casts for their respective series. As a solution, TVB had strengthened to promote the second-line TVB artistes into the first-line. At the same time, TVB had hold an event called as “Skyline 100”, aiming at strongly treating the advertising clients. And from the event shown, the lines of artistes standing in front of the cameras had already implied who will be the next potential ones to be promoted in the future!

On Tuesday, 7th of June, TVB had temporarily stopped its production to hold a significant event that was hold at the Skyline 100 tower. The event was packed with hundred of artistes. In previous years, TVB had only held such events in the end year during TVB anniversary period, but now it has been a doubt as to what TVB was up to something for the betterment of the future. Others were saying that TVB had made a mistake by ruining the operations of the existing first-line artistes. And that’s why this is the main reason of holding such event to peace the advertisers & others. In addition, in order to power up the atmosphere, they invited Wayne Lai to the event. (At first, Wayne had planned to take leaves to go for vacation with his wife.) Also, Roger Kwok, Steven Ma, Kevin Cheng, Bosco Wong, etc. were invited as well. For Charmaine Sheh, she was not the so-called “biological daughter” already, and these lefts Tavia Yeung, Linda Chung, Myolie Wu, Fala Chen and Kate Tsui to lead as the current first-line TVB actress. And she could stand at the front with other first-line artistes, near to where Linda was standing. Others would be Selena Li, Natalie Tong, Nancy Wu, Kristal Tin and Sire Ma. Mentioning about Selena, she is leading the upcoming filming series “The King Boxer” and she is pairing with Kevin Cheng. Also, Natalie Tong is also one of the leading actresses in the drama mentioned. The opportunity has granted to them which can test their respective acting skills. For Sire, she is small in size and she received many prises from various TVB producers. For Kristal, she is good in various fields such as acting and even hosting. On the other hand, Nancy Wu will also lead the sequel of “Triumph in the Skies” and gives a chance for her to lighten up in the series.

After Wayne Lai & Sheren Tang had won the Best Actor & Actress Award respectively, the so-called ‘biological son & daughter’ biasness had been vanished. Thus, promoting TVB male artistes are now exceptionally different from what they had done previously. This include Kenneth Ma (who is well-received among the public) will lead an upcoming series, the non-biological son, Raymond Wong (who is highly in favour by producer Lee Tim Sing) will be the leading actor in the upcoming series “My Cruel Lover” and followed by filming the series “The King Boxer” now. Due to his physical attributes and appearances, he is well received by the public. In addition, talking about “Laughing Gor” Michael Tse, “Little Bone” Pierre Ngo, they are also in the potential list. In addition, Jazz Lam is also the centre of attraction among the public as he is in both “My Sister of Eternal Flower” and “Ghetto Justice” simultaneously in front of the TV. Jazz is not handsome but he was attracted by the public. He can be called as a joker and he can be performed his respective roles well in TVB series. Other actor such as King Kong, he is a Taiwanese and he is not fluent in speaking Cantonese. However, this uniqueness had made him in fame among the public. This can be proven when he is hosting a food programme with Kitty Yuen just recently; his hosting is well received by the people. He can also be nicknamed as a joker too. And now, he will film an upcoming series “4 in Love” with Moses Chan and Charmaine Sheh.

Other than the three Miss HK winning contestants, Toby Chan, Sammi Cheng and Lisa Ch’ng, there are two upcoming rising stars in TVB; those are the cousin sister of Raymond Lam, Lin Xia Wei and the current Miss Chinese International winner contestant, Eliza Sam. They will be the future potential actresses. Lin Xia Wei is 23 years old. She had won The Superstar Award for the country when she was 16 and she had received scholarship to study in Beijing Acting Academy before. Also, she had acted in two HK opera dramas before. Also, Eliza who is from Vancouver is now 25 years old. Judging her acting skills, it’s still unknown but she will be the actress in future soon.
