The photos appeared after Cecilia Cheung's outburst at the airport, where she accused the Hong Kong actor of being a bad father
Last week, Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung called her husband, actor Nicholas Tse "a fake" and accused him of being the person behind veteran DJ Cha Xiao Xin's expose of their marital woes.
Following her outburst, Nicholas made a public declaration thanking his wife. At the press conference for his new movie Treasure Inn in Beijing, the actor also claimed that he still missed and loved Cecilia.
On the same day the actor left Beijing for Malaysia, a batch of photos showing Nicholas and Cecilia on a holiday with son Lucas in Macau last October surfaced.
In the pictures, Nicholas was seen playing with Lucas, while Cecilia was spotted playing with her mobile phone.
It is believed that the photos were uploaded by a fan who supported Nicholas in order to refute Cecilia's claim. The actress had said that Nicholas did not care for his sons and spent his time playing video games.
There were also speculations that the photos were released in an attempt to create a good image for Nicholas before custody battle for their two sons begins.
It was reported that the divorce papers would be sent to Nicholas, who is currently filming Reversal War in Malaysia, at the end of the month.
