In the past, riding road to love has not been smooth for Joyce Tang, after the separation with Marco Ngai and then with Derek Kwok. Recently, the media spotted Joyce with a new man. Always generous and open about relationships, Joyce did not mind reporters following her and catch up on her new love.
After a 9 year relationship with Marco Ngai, in 2007 Joyce announced the relationship was over. Not long after, she sparked it off with Derek Kwok. However, the relationship did not last as it emerged that Joyce found out about Derek had another relationship at the same time with another girlfriend and also father to a daughter living in the Mainland. After two failed relationships, Joyce seemed to have found love. The man in her life right now is not in showbiz industry and around 40 years old.
It was rumoured that after Joyce became single, other TVB actors tried to chase her. However she declined at those opportunities. Currently, she is in love with a man almost 10 years older, she seemed protective of him from the media and wants to have a peaceful life together. Yesterday, Joyce and her man were spotted in a supermarket in Tsim Sha Tsui, buying steak and caviar. When Joyce saw reporters, she looked shocked and pulled her lover and led out of the store.
It is known that Joyce is a homely girl and does not go out too frequently without boyfriend likes to cook and shops like a housewife. In the recent months, Joyce and her new man seemed to be living like a married and sharing their lives together. She often shops alone and carries shopping up the flights of stairs to her appartment. Whilst Joyce goes to work in the Mainland, the boyfriend drives her car and goes in and out of Joyce’s house. It seems that they have built a nice love nest for themselves and Joyce seemed very generous financially on her part.
Reporters caught up with Joyce to congratulate her new found love, she sweetly smiled: “Don’t scare him. He isn’t in the showbiz industry and it is difficult to find a normal outstander who is single. If you scare him away, it’s harder for me to pursue this relationship.” Reporters asked about her boyfriend driving her car and has her house keys, she explained: “I was working in mainland and my car broke down. He was helping me sort the car out. I had to give him the house keys so he can return my car keys. It does not seem logical to have him post my car keys through the door.” She continued: “I have many friends who have my house keys.” Asked if he was a ‘new best friend’, Joyce smiled: “Top friend! He isn’t like a rich millionaire but just a normal Hong Kong person.”
