Bowie accepts salty fish and supports TVB

Yesterday Bowie Lam was at TVB City filming a new cookery programme. The contract between Bowie and TVB is about the come to an end next month. Asked if Bowie will renew, he expressed that he has met with Virginia Lok and Tommy Leung at dinner yesterday. Bowie revealed: “The atmosphere was good, Virginia seems very sincere and Tommy asked me to be in a few new series. I am still thinking about it.” Asked if Bowie asked for a pay increase, he expressed that money is not the main factor but the right to see the scripts and then able to decide whether to accept is important. Bowie added: “It is important for actors to receive good scripts. How much can you ask for?! I have been approached by mainland companies; now I will need time to consider my options.”

Speaking about various actors commenting on the low salary from TVB, those include Michael Tse and Sammul Chan. Bowie supports TVB: “So much moaning! I am very lucky, I feel actors should not consider their salaries too heavily!
