However, there are exceptions to everything. Leila, who has been focusing quite abit on stageplays in the recent years, is so low-profile that it makes her fans love and hate at the same time.. Liking her for her sincerity and down-to-earth, but dislike her for 'staying away from the rest of the world'.
Never stopped filming tv dramas
Whenever I meet up with Leila, I would always ask her about her updates at the first moment, and followed by complaining on the behalf of her fans. After all, it has been a really long time since we saw her performance in television dramas. Leila replied smilingly, "Actually I have never stopped filming tv dramas. It's just that some of the dramas have been scheduled to broadcast on local paid channels and some are mainland dramas. Thus, it feels like the exposure has been very low! However, I believe everyone can see my new drama very soon."
Leila said that following 'Rooms To Let', she will film another RTHK drama 'Love Thy Family'. This drama has already started filming and the show talks about Leila's character's feelings before and after marriage. Also in this drama are Zac Koo and Miki Yeung.
Taking part in Stageplays
As for the big plans in the future, Leila continued, "Let nature takes its course! I believe in the upcoming year I will film a couple of mainland dramas, and do some shows onstage. If there are suitable scripts and filming schedules, I will also film television dramas and movies. However, what I am certain of is that I will grab hold of the opportunity to take part in stageplay."
