Sammi Cheng brought up Gigi Leung's past relationship to joke with

The first show Gigi Leung HK G Night Concert 2011 was held in HK Coliseum the night before (the 27th). Gigi invited Sammi Cheng as her guest performer. Sammi didn't foreget to take Gigi's past love relationships out to joke with. She joked: "I saw her turn from an idol singer into a singer-songwriter, going from HK to Taiwan to Mainland, eating Chinese Yee Mein (Ekin Cheng) to having French snail (Sly). Next year will she go have Japanese ramen? You are good, can you teach me?" Gigi teased back: "You aren't bad either, eating here and there, still on the same one!" Getting teased back, Sammi laughed: "I've been eating straw mushroom lately....I deserve it. You leave, go down and change your clothes!" Sammi joked that she's an unpaid guest, she had to get her hair done and buy new clothes, spending over HK$10,000 out of the blue. However, she expressed of course she exaggerated it, then she performed Wrong Stop.

Also, Gigi talked about her past and future view on love and dedicated the song March Fireworks to ex-lover Ekin Cheng. She said: "This song is for the past one." Audience then shouted out, Gigi said: What? There's not that many." She also said that she's troubled because everyone thinks she's very strong, but compared herself to the African giraffe. She said giraffes are very tall, but they are in fact timid. She has also been misunderstood by people in the same way, she should be included with giraffes to protect animals. Mentioning the future, Gigi said: "Women are waiting for one person, that person is like the manager, have security, on call 24 hours, can appear at anytime, doesn't charge for administrative costs and provides the expeses. If he's a handsome secure, then it would be flourishing, we are all waiting for this handsome secure." She performed the song Waiting For Someone dedicated to that future person.

Gigi Witnesses a fan's proposal to partner

On the 28th, Gigi held the last show of her concert and invited Richie Ren as her guest perfomer. Gigi's boyfriend Matthew along with several other good friends attended to supoort her. Gigi made arrangements for a fan to propose to their other half live on the spot. This fan has followed Gigi for over 10 years and Gigi was able to witness the moment of his proposal, she was so touched she teared up.
