Gigi would like boyfriend to propose

Yesterday was the final night of ‘Gigi Leung’s Hong Kong G Concert’. There were 2 consequent shows and the seating area was only 70 percent filled. Gigi’s boyfriend Matthew was there cheering and supporting Gigi on both nights. He seemed to have enjoyed her performance, taking pictures of Gigi as well as waving glowsticks around. Both nights, there were roars for encore and Gigi seemed happy by the support of her fans, friends and family.

During one of the shows, one of Taiwanese fan of 10 years decided to propose to girlfriend with flowers and a ring. Gigi seemed very excited and shouted with the audience: “Marry him!” The girlfriend appeared emotional and teary and said yes. This gave Gigi a great feeling to have seen two people decided to share their lives together. Gigi expressed: “Wonder if I will be proposed to! That would be fantastic!” Gigi’s boyfriend was sitting in the audience, wonder what his reaction was?

After the show ended last night, there was an after party. Reporters asked Gigi if she wants a proposal on stage. Gigi answered: “It will be quite noisy to propose here at the coliseum, but it will be kind of romantic!” Asked if she will announce good news like what Kelly Chen did when she was getting married. Gigi replied: “I will consider that but we haven’t been dating for very long, so give us more time!” Gigi and Matthew had only been dating for 4 months, however it does seem that Gigi feels like she wants to get married soon!
