Joey Yung, BIG FOUR, Grasshopper and Ekin Cheng opened the 1 of 3 shows SUMMER POP LIVE IN HK concert last night in Hong Kong Coliseum. Lion Under Mountain was the concert theme song, the singers first appeared in their black cotumes, giving a 1 minute moment of silence to the HK tourists hostage victims. Both of Roman Tam's older and younger sisters attended the show in support.
Later, Andy Hui, Dicky Cheung, William So and Edmond Leung then changed into red, orange, yellow and green coloured outfits to kick off the concert singing the classic 80s songs. Andy expressed: "Today I am singing two songs by veterans to bring happiness and laughter to everyone. I hope to bring positive energy to everyone." Then Roman Tam's recorded voice was heard from the stage, introducing Joey onto the stage himself, Joey was dressed as a warrior and duet a song with Roman's voice, bringing back memories of when Roman Tam first brought newcomer Joey out to perform, it was a touching scene.
