Former beauty queen Michelle Reis was criticised by the public for being hypocritical after she reportedly spent over HKD$1 million (S$160,355) on her firstborn son Baby Jayden Max's (Baby JM) 100-day banquet.

It is known that Michelle urged her guests to donate their red packet money to a charity foundation set up in the name of Baby JM.

According to a Hong Kong tabloid, Michelle's mother-in-law not only disagreed with Michelle on her choice of menu, but also did not want to reveal Baby JM to the public that night.

Guests who attended the wedding said, "We found out that Michelle decided not to carry Baby JM while being interviewed, because her mother-in-law was against it. Baby JM was a good boy that night, but Michelle refused to let anyone touch him, for fear of germs."

Furthermore, it was reported that Michelle's mother-in-law seemed unhappy that night and even refused to take a group photo with Michelle.

"Michelle's mother-in-law did not smile much that evening. She kept urging Julian (Michelle's husband) to quickly wrap up the banquet and let Baby JM get some rest," a guest said.

With a svelte post-pregnancy figure, Michelle can be seen modeling for various magazines while flaunting her good figure. In between shoots, the doting mother of one would go online with her iPad to check on the wellbeing of Baby JM.

Commenting on the rumour of an ongoing feud with her mother-in-law, Michelle responded, "Really? My mother-in-law asked me the same question."
