Tomorrow night, the Miss Chinese International Pageant 2010 will be held in Polo Club Plaza in Tianjin Grand Hotel. The 24 contestants were rehearsing in their bikinis. In the past, no matter if it's the body figure or appearance, MCI would bring some surprises to viewers, but this year the quality is clearly not as good. Among the contestants, #6 Toby Chan representing Hong Kong, #18 Cindy Chang representing Toronto and #19 Eliza Sam representing Vancouver were the ones that met standards.

When Toby Chan was running for Miss Hong Kong, Netizens criticized that she was a "porkchop" Miss HK, even the CNN report described it as the "Porkchop Event". However, because this year's MCI qualities have gone downhill, she becomes one of the Top 3. Toby expressed that her goal in participating in MCI is to complete the entire event and not to reach top 3. She does not hope to have too much pressure on herself. When speaking of this year's qualities not being as good as last year, does she feel that her chances of winning is higher? She said: "In the past, I didn't really pay attention because I was still studying overseas. But every one of us has different qualities, I personally will not go compare." Asked who are the top 3 in her heart? She expressed #5 (Lu Bai), #19 (Eliza Sam) and #24 (Yoyo Yang).

During the bikini rehearsal, the contestants voted #5 Lu Bai for "Miss Friendship". Lu Bai expressed that she felt happy and surprised to be named Miss Friendship because her origin is Shandong and this is the first time most contestants have been to Tianjin, she is very willing to help them out. Speaking of the Miss Friendships most likely will lose the top 3 position, she expressed that she does not agree because she felt that the most important part of the contest is establishing friendship with the other contestants and not who loses out on being the top 3. She said: "Actually today during rehearsal, we were all starting to feel unwilling to part, #19 Eliza was a little emotional too." Asked who she would vote for? She said #6 Toby Chan and reveals that when the contestants were training in Hong Kong, Toby provided the most care.

The Miss Chinese International Pageant 2010 is held on Saturday November 6, 2010 at 8:30pm HKT.
