TVB's Anniversary Awards ceremony is held on December 5th this year. The battle for Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Series awards are between Moses Chan and Charmaine Sheh's Can't Buy Me Love, Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang's No Regrets and many more. CBML aired earlier on receiving high ratings and public praises and had a high chance to become the big winner at the TVB Awards. However, Wayne and Sheren's performances in NR had many viewers say the series was wonderful! Earlier at the TVB Anniversary celebration, nonstop promotions were made for NR, boosting Wayne and Sheren's chances to win!
No mystery high chances of winning
It was said that Charmaine Sheh felt that she had no hope for the award this year, so she went to Mainland to avoid the awards ceremony, but the day before, after NR's ratings hasn't surpass CBML, the leading actress to the two highest rated series for two consecutive years, Charmaine's hope to win the award comes right back from the ashes. So, Charmaine immediately schedules time off to get back off to get back to HK for the awards ceremony with the Mainland series crew!
Reporters contacted Charmaine who is currently still in Mainland to confirm the news. As CBML has been the highest series throughout the year, Charmaine frankly said that the happiest person should be Producer Miu Siu Ching. As if she has hope for TV Queen? She said: "I am feeling very normal, I personally don't have any big battle feeling, try my best! (Scheduled to come back to HK for the awards ceremony?) My manager is actively helping me schedule time off with the Mainland series crew, but even so I still have to go back that night because I am part of the nominations and I want to participate too. However, I really don't have time to try out the jewelry and outfit, so will leave everything to my manager!"
Asked Charmaine if specially coming back to HK to attend the awards ceremony means her chances of winning are higher? She laughed: "It's no mystery! Everything is unknown until awards ceremony! But, I still hope that CBML wins Best Series!"
Sheren gets advice from Chow Yun Fat
Last night, Sheren was shooting a healthy food product advertisement. Towards the NR finale didn't break Jewels In the Palace 50 point record, Sheren frankly said that she is not disappointed because can now re-watch the series online, perhaps it will influence the ratings. Chow Yun Fat said that this year's TV Queen battle is between her and Charmaine. Sheren said" Really thank him for support, sometimes when I see him, I would get his advice! I personally have confidence, but the other opponents are very strong too." Sheren also joked that her role was difficult to portray, so she can win the Most Improved Artist Award too and praised that Charmaine done well in CBML.
