For someone who enjoyed an abundance of film offers when she made her showbiz comeback after the birth of her second child, Cecilia has yet to land any new offers while her husband has five to six projects on hand. She is believed to be suffering from a career backlash since news of her marriage meltdown got out.

Two days ago, Cecilia made her first public appearance at the lensing ceremony for her upcoming movie, The Lion Roars 2. It is her first public event since coming out on her marital woes with Nicholas Tse.

To clear her bad reputations for being a diva and a constant absentee, the actress attended the ceremony despite her flu, and was seen putting up a wide smile when she greeted director Joe Ma and co-stars Yang Shen and Victor Huang upon her arrival.

Apart from that, the mother of two sons, who claimed that her forgiveness towards Edison Chen was due to her newfound faith in Christianity, was seen trying her best to blend in with the film crew when she joined in for the traditional Chinese prayers.

Despite being all smiles, Cecilia appeared visibly thinner and paler, which was believed to be due to the stress she received from her marital woes and her recent ailment.

According to a member of the film crew, Cecilia's original plan was to return to Hong Kong to settle some personal matters prior to the movie's shoot.

However, according to the Hong Kong media, she has cancelled her trip and began filming yesterday.
