According to earlier reports by the Taiwanese media, Nicholas Tse gave his spouse the final warning through his lawyers. He demanded Cecilia Cheung to bring their sons back to the Tse residence before he returns to Hong Kong, when Reversal War wraps its shoot on Friday.
Despite his warnings, Cecilia has yet to arrange for the boys' return to the Tse residence and instead placed them under the care of Cecilia's stepsister at Yang Ming Shan.
The Hong Kong actress reportedly planned to take leave from the shoot for The Lion Roars 2, to discuss terms of their separation and the custody of their children with Nicholas in Hong Kong this Friday.
Nicholas's friend revealed, "Nicholas will not go soft and give in [to Cecilia] this time. He will think of his children first, as he doesn't wish to hurt them".
In other related news, an insider revealed that the marriage between Nicholas and Cecilia started to show signs of a meltdown six months ago.
Not long after receiving a deposit of NT$13 million (S$55,000) to act in The Lion Roars 2, Cecilia had thoughts of returning the deposit and opting out of the project.
At that time, she expressed that she would like to have a daughter with Nicholas to salvage her marriage, which was already on the verge of falling apart. However, things did not work out for the 31-year-old.
When contacted, Yu Yu Xing, the producer of The Lion Roars 2, confirmed that the news was true, and he assured Cecilia that they would edit the script to suit her if she was really pregnant during the shoot.
