Leila, who always have unlimited love for animals, attended the opening ceremony of Rescue Centre For Abandoned Pets (RCAP) with a bunch of kind people to help raise funds in order to build living places for stray dogs at Lau Fau San. As she already has a couple of dogs at home, Leila said smilingly that one of the criteria of her future partner is love for dogs and that she admits she is crazy about dogs.
Well known for being a dog lover, Leila still takes out some time to help the stray dogs even though she was busy with stageplay and filming a drama in mainland China previously. Some time ago, Leila and other artistes, including Gabriel Harrison attended the opening ceremony of RCAP and they urged the kind people out there to donate money to help stray dogs build a better home.
During the event, Leila was playing rather happily with the dogs, showing her affection for them. Even though she was enjoying herself, she became serious when the issue about the living environment of the stray dogs was brought up. "This organisation found a place for the stray dogs to stay in Lau Fau San and even bought big cargo containers to keep them. There was also a very kind person who donated a batch of aircons. However, as they have to wire the place to fix the aircons, a large sum of money is required. I really hope that everyone can be kind enough to donate a little to help."
Pets becoming owner
Leila, who has lots of love for dogs all the while, said that she hopes to volunteer to help dogs after she retires in the future. She said smilingly, "I feel that I was probably saved by dogs in my previous life so I feel that I owe them in this life. Just like the bunch of kings at home (referring to her pet dogs), sometimes I feel that they are the owner instead of me because I listen to them most of the time. (Reporter: Is love for dogs one of your criteria for future partner?) Of course. If he can't pass this stage, he doesn't have to even think of becoming my boyfriend."
