Ever since her contract with TVB ended, Leila has been persistent about doing meaningful things that she likes. Recently, Leila was invited to an organic soap workshop and she experienced the process of making organic soap herself. Firstly, Leila had to lift five litres of materials and pour them into the metal tin followed by moving the tin to the stove to heat it. After that she had to stir the mixture with lots of strength. Leila said smilingly "Lucky I have a very huge baby and I trained my arm muscles by carrying him. Now I have no problems trying to move heavy stuff."Being more concerned about an organic lifestyle after she gave birth, Leila pointed out that one aspect that the current organic products industry has to improve on - the retail price. She said, "It's a must for organic products to be original and simple. Having a high retail price for it does not tie back to its simplicity."
Inspired by her mum about being environmental friendly
After a day of voluntary work, Leila said that she is envious of the employees of organic products workshop "They used their heard to produce all the organic product every day. The production process is very relaxed and they chat among themselves while working to pass time." Leila also pointed out that the reason she hopes to go for an organic and environmental friendly lifestyle was because of her mum "We will usually throw away the plastic wrapping of toilet rolls after we buy them home but my mum will keep it and use it as a base for the rubbish bin.
