The night before, Twins and William Chan attended the Metro's Mandarin Music Awards. Gillian Chung was arranged to stand in between Charlene Choi and William being their light bulb and a brief episode occurred where Ah Gil's fans madly scolded Ah Sa and William on Weibo.
Yesterday at 4am, Ah Gil was angered by the Fans' behavior and scolded back at them on Weibo. She said: "What is wrong with you all? I was standing besides them all along, you all didn't know? Today it was because the fireworks got on me, and they blocked it for me. Can you all not say such hurtful things about others?" It was understood that some fans misunderstood William, that he was afraid his girlfriend Ah Sa would get hit by the fireworks, so went to rescue her and the angle looked as if he knocked Ah Gil. Ah Gil's fans were just worried their idol would get hurt and therefore scolded William and Ah Sa. Eventually fans of both sides got into a fight, fortunately Ah Gil came forward to settle the issue. Fans also apologized to Ah Gil.
Yesterday William explained that at the time, he saw the fireworks coming out hard, so he quickly covered them with his arm and stressed that his arms did not hit anyone.
