Galie gains weight, plans to be a mum next year

After tying the knot and becoming Mrs Lai, Gaile Lok and husband Leon Lai both have had nonstop media pressure asking them about when they plan to start a family.

Yesterday Gaile appeared as a model for the I.T Tsumori Chistato Autumn Winter 2011 collection fashion show. Dressed in elegant white and evidently have gained weight, Gaile looked happy in the show. Her appearance was supposed to be accompanied with children however, the children did not managed to get on the catwalk and Gaile had to walk out alone.

It has been a long time since Gaile had a public appearance and yesterday she admitted piling on a few pounds. Looking radiant, she expressed that she had been back to the U.S but did not confirm whether Leon accompanied her. Gaile said: “I went back to the U.S for a few months as it was my younger sister’s high school graduation. Our whole family was very happy and we enjoyed our times together. I ate a lot.” (Did you gain weight?) “I gained 5kg. (Approximately 11 lbs) I do not intend to lose weight, as I am happy. I have not done a show in a while so no need to lose weight. Plus I am getting older, not necessary to lose weight.” (Does Leon like you slimmer or fatter?) “He does not mind either, the most important things is health and happiness.”

Reporters asked Gaile when she going to have a baby? She said: “I am planning, one step at a time.” (Are you thinking of getting more healthy and fatter for the benefit of the baby?) “Probably have to lose weight before having a baby; otherwise it is more difficult to lose the baby weight.” (Are you ready to have a baby now?) “Not yet, almost.”

Recently there were reports that Gaile is infertile, in response to this she said: “I don’t know how to say this but we have not even planned (having babies).
