Lee Tim Shing hopes Niki Chow can be in his series tailored for her

Golden producer Lee Tim Shing initially planned to start a pre-modern TVB series My Cruel Lover late-January with Raymond Wong and Niki Chow as the main leads. Earlier, Tim Gor expressed that the script was tailored for the two of them, but lately it was said the female lead has to be changed because Niki's record label BMA recently joined HKRIA and will be against TVB. I have tried to fight for it with TVB because Niki is coming to be an actress, not a singer. If she was singing, then I can understand, but TVB was just telling me to wait and wait. Of course I do respecy TVB too, I am just a producer, so I can't make company decisions." Tim Gor was asked if he had talked to Niki yet, he frankly said: "At this point, it is really inconvenient for me because I am a TVB employee, so I cannot meet with Niki in private, Idon't want to cause trouble for others."

Asked when will he know if Niki can take part or not? Tim Gor expressed: "No matter what My Cruel Lover will start shooting as scheduled. In the next 2-3 days, just waiting for news from the Artistes Department. I currently really hope Niki can shoot this series, if it's not possible, I will just have to change the script and find someone else. Honestly, time is of the essence." When asked again if Niki planned to terminate her BMA contract due to waiting to be part of the series? Tim Gor said: "I read that on the newspapers too." But, it was understood that Niki and BMA's contract expires at the end of the month, this time she's just terminating it early, and the chances are high.
