Yesterday TVB revealed that the new drama ‘Flying Tigers’ will include a hostage situation story similar to the incident in Manila many months ago with the Hong Kong tour coach. It has attracted many criticisms over the inclusion of such a storyline and sensitivity to the victims.The team of actors and the film crew gathered at the old Hong Kong airport to film the hostage scenes. Kenneth Ma wore a winter jacket played the hostage taker, he was seen wondering in and out of the tour coach. Other actors were inside the coach and were seen with regularly upset expressions and blood on their faces. It looks like the scenes were very similar to that of the incident.
After filming, Kenneth spoken what he thought, he said: “I am a bit worried because I think it will affect my image. However when acting, I did not think about it too much! We all stuck with the script and the atmosphere was as normal when filming. Actually the storyline does not relate to the Manila incident at all!”
